Using a Local Node
You have the choice of running your own node or using a remote node to sync with the network.
Local Node
To run a local node you just run the havend in your terminal. You can also specify the location to save the sync data by using the --
data-dir
command. The sync time will vary but can take several hours/days and require a considerable amount of disk space (35Gb+) but is the most secure method to use. Running your own node also helps secure the network and allows you to use your computer to mine Haven.
Remote Node
You can use a 3rd party remote node to sync with the network if you don’t have the disk space to store the entire blockchain. Instructions for this can be found here
