Key Types

With every Haven address there are several different types of key associated with it. They allow users complete control over their privacy and their purposes will be outlined below:

Private Spend Key: These are used to create outgoing transactions on an account.

Private View Key: A recipient of a transaction can use this to check that funds were sent to them correctly. Because this is secret only the person who has the private view key can access the information.

Public View Key: These are required for anyone to send funds to your account. They are generated and form part of your public address.

Public Spend Key: These are used to verify the signature on a transaction.
