Using a Remote Node

The current list of available remote nodes on the network can be found here

You can set the daemon to point to a remote node using the set_daemon command in your CLI wallet.

Once the wallet is open you will see an error message as per below:

Error: wallet failed to connect to daemon: http://localhost:17750. Daemon either is not started or wrong port was passed. Please make sure daemon is running or change the daemon address using the 'set_daemon' command.

Ignore this error and enter one of the following to connect to a remote node:

  • set_daemon remote.haven.miner.rocks:17750 trusted
  • set_daemon nodes.hashvault.pro:17750 trusted
  • set_daemon remote.eu.havenprotocol.org:17750 trusted
  • set_daemon haven.fastnode.eu:17750 trusted

Type refresh and it will connect to the remote node and sync your wallet. Once synced you can then use your wallet as normal.
